April 4, 2017 - Introduction to Trust-Based Relational Intervention
Join us for Introduction to Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) presented by Lori DuRussel, TBRI® trainer.

Parenting is challenging! As your child moves through tantrums, sulks, anxiety, and rages, it can be tough to know how to parent effectively. This is particularly true in adoptive or foster families where children have experienced early trauma or loss.

TBRI is an attachment-based, trauma-informed parenting approach designed to help parents meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. It helps parents provide a balance of nurture and structure to help their children learn and grow. It uses:

*Connecting Principles for attachment needs
*Empowering Principles to support physical needs
*Correcting Principles to manage fear-based behaviors

Parents in all types of families – adoptive and non-adoptive -- can use TBRI’s tools. TBRI has been used in homes, schools, camps, international orphanages, and residential treatment facilities.

Join us in this introductory seminar to learn the basics of TBRI and get some specific tools to not only manage your child’s behavior, but also to strengthen your connection to your child.
